1. Deconstructed Vegan Niçoise Salad

This dish is thought to have originated in a southern province in France, and is named after olives! Made with hearty, plant-based ingredients, this dish is cooling and refreshing, keeping you full for hours.

Not only does this mean that you have more time to frolic in the sunshine and swim in the seas, but also means you are being nourished, at The Zubeida, with every single meal you choose.

2. Khima Chapati

A deliciously filled and flavourful flatbread, our Khima Chapati has a deep, earthy Swahili-inspired taste. This is a fan favourite and even our little guests enjoy this since it isn't too spicy and the flavour is mouth-watering.

If you're a fan of spiced mince, this Chapati is the perfect lunch or dinner for you.

3. Vegetable and Saffron Risotto

This is an exceptionally creamy treat when you're by the Indian Ocean. Saffron has been a long-coveted spice and lends a decadent taste to foods. Often used in desserts, we have chosen to make a vegetable and saffron risotto dish a highlight at The Zubeida.

This wholesome meal gives you the sweetness of vegetables, creaminess of parmesan cheese and of course, the trademarked saffron taste that elevates your tastebuds to new heights.

4. Grilled 21 day aged Rib Eye Steak

This delicacy speaks for itself! For those who love steak, this is a clear winner. Marinated, and cooked by our talented and experienced chefs, tender and tasty: this is definitely a dish you will feel like re-ordering.

Served with steak fries, pepper sauce and seasonal vegetables.

5. Mombasa Bay Prawn

Fresh seafood prawns are the star of this show! Our jumbo prawns are cooked with fresh, delicious coriander and served with sautéed broccoli and steamed rice.
